Do I need an appointment?
Until we open, yes. Every visit before September 17-18, 2026 is a private preview, arranged one at a time so that the room and a specialist are held for you rather than shared. After the opening the showroom keeps regular hours and an appointment becomes optional, though it still buys you an unhurried afternoon.
When does Design Gallery open to the public?
September 17-18, 2026, over two evenings, 5:30 – 8:30 PM on both. Thursday, September 17 is the trade preview, for interior designers, architects, builders. Friday, September 18 is the grand opening evening, for clients, friends and invited guests.
What are the showroom hours?
From the opening onward, Monday – Saturday, 9:00 – 17:00, closed Sunday. Before then there are no walk-in hours at all: the floor runs on preview appointments only. The quickest way to fix a time is the phone, (916) 500-5417.
How long does a visit take?
A first walkthrough runs about half an hour. A working session, with drawings on the table and materials pulled off the floor, runs longer and is meant to. The time is held either way, and you set the pace.
What is on the floor
Which brands are on display?
Five brands are resident: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, Cosentino and DreamLine Custom Cabinetry. They are installed across complete working environments rather than lined up as samples. Around them the floor carries the wider roster of cooking, refrigeration, ventilation, surface, cabinetry and bath brands the design community specifies.
Are the appliances plugged in and running?
Yes. Every appliance on the floor is installed and running, set into finished kitchen and bath environments rather than into a display case. Refrigeration holds temperature, the ranges are brought to heat during a session, and ventilation and cleaning run alongside them.
How large is the showroom?
The building is 18,000 square feet: installed working environments, a chef-grade working kitchen, a plaza with a stage, and private rooms for the design trade.
Which surfaces can I see, and at what scale?
Cosentino surfaces, Dekton and Silestone, run across islands, counters and walls at full size rather than as chip samples. A finish reads differently in the warm light it will live in and beside the cabinetry and appliances it has to sit with.
Whose cabinetry are the rooms built in?
DreamLine Custom Cabinetry, designed and built in Northern California. It frames every environment in the building, so a door style, a finish and an interior fitting can be judged at full height instead of from a sample door. Fully custom means dimensions, materials and interiors built to specification, including panel-ready fronts that take refrigeration and dishwashing without a visible seam.
The working kitchen
What is the working kitchen?
The only working Sub-Zero, Wolf & Cove kitchen in Greater Sacramento is at 900 Sunrise Ave in Roseville. The appliances in it are connected and cooked on rather than staged, and the rest of the floor is arranged around the room.
Is food actually cooked on the appliances?
Yes. A chef session puts a guest chef on the Wolf range for a full menu, start to plate, while the refrigeration and the dishwasher carry their ordinary load beside it. Outside a session the team brings the appliances up and works through them with you.
Do guests cook on the equipment themselves?
No. A member of the team runs it, or the guest chef does at a chef session. Your part is to stand close enough to see the work and to eat what comes off the range.
What can I judge here that a specification sheet cannot tell me?
Heat, noise and scale. A Wolf range is taken down to a low simmer and back to a hard boil in front of you, so the recovery is something you time rather than read. Open a Sub-Zero and two sealed systems stop being a phrase. The Cove runs while you stand beside it, which is the only honest way to judge what it will ask of an open-plan room. Surfaces and cabinet doors are read at full size, against the appliances they have to sit with.

The only place in Greater Sacramento where you can see Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances working is here, at 900 Sunrise Ave in Roseville. The nearest comparable room is roughly one hundred miles away, in the Bay Area, which is why people plan a trip around this rather than stopping in on the way past.

Is there a trade or designer program?
It is in development, and no structure, benefits or terms are published while they are being settled. What exists today is a direct collaboration: leave a request, someone from the team replies personally, and terms are agreed one to one.
Will you contact my client?
No. Clients you introduce stay yours. We do not approach them, quote them, or follow up around you. That principle holds from the first project and does not wait on the program.
Can I present to a client here?
Yes. The private rooms take a client walkthrough or a working session, with screens for your renders and the running floor a few steps away. Homeowners who arrive without a designer are hosted by the in-house team, so nobody is turned away and no designer arrives to find their client already spoken for.

How long is the drive?
