▸Event Terms & Media Release: includes a release of claims
In consideration of your admission to the event, which you accept as full and complete consideration for the rights granted here, by ticking this box you grant Design Gallery, its affiliated companies (companies under common ownership or control with Design Gallery) and their successors and assigns an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, publish and distribute photographs, video and audio recordings made at the event that include your name, image, likeness or voice, in any media now known or later developed, to create derivative works, and to use the materials with AI-assisted editing and production tools, for the marketing and advertising of Design Gallery, its affiliated companies and their products and services, in social media, paid advertising, lead generation and any other media, and for archival purposes.
No fee, royalty, residual or other compensation is payable for any use of the materials, including uses that produce revenue, leads or advertising value for Design Gallery, and you have no right to any share of such proceeds.
You release Design Gallery and its affiliated companies from all claims relating to the use of the materials, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, false light, defamation and emotional distress. This release does not extend to any claim that may not be released under California law. Design Gallery has final say over the materials. As a courtesy, you may ask Design Gallery to remove a specific image from channels it controls; Design Gallery will consider each request but is not obligated to act on it, and cannot remove material already republished by others. The courtesy does not revoke the license.
You grant these rights for yourself; each other adult in your party must give their own consent at check-in. You are responsible for informing everyone in your party of these terms, and you will indemnify Design Gallery against claims by anyone in your party arising from your failure to do so. Guests under 18 will not appear in published material unless a parent or guardian signs a separate consent at the event. If you provide a company or firm name, you confirm you are authorized to permit its use in connection with these materials.
You consent to the recording of your statements and conversations at the event and agree that no communication at the event is confidential within the meaning of California Penal Code section 632.
Admission may be limited. Design Gallery may decline entry or ask a guest to leave for any lawful reason. If you would prefer not to be photographed, tell us at check-in and we will note it.
By ticking this box you confirm you are 18 or older. If any part of this release is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. California law governs; venue is Placer County, California. This is the entire agreement on these subjects, and we handle the information you give us as described in our Privacy Policy.
