ASKO
ASKO is Scandinavian design applied to the working parts of a kitchen and laundry: dishwashers, ovens and laundry machines built with a restraint that reads as quiet on the outside and serious underneath.
The appeal is in the build. Stainless steel construction and clean Nordic lines are easy to claim and harder to feel, which is why ASKO rewards the visitor who opens a door and judges the machine by hand.

ASKO began in Sweden in 1950, when Karl-Erik Andersson built a washing machine for his mother on the family farm in Vara. That laundry heritage still runs through the brand, alongside dishwashing and cooking built to the same durable, understated standard.
Nordic design is a discipline of leaving things out, and it is one you appreciate in use rather than description. Load a rack, close a drawer, and see whether the restraint holds up where a kitchen actually meets your hands.
