JennAir builds one brand in two visual languages, RISE and NOIR, and the difference between them is a decision you make with your eyes, not a spec you read. On our floor you can stand between the two, set a bright, architectural RISE finish against the dark, minimalist NOIR geometry, and feel which one a client's room is actually speaking. That is a judgment that rarely survives a rendering, which is exactly what a working floor is for.

What is the difference between JennAir RISE and NOIR?

They are the two JennAir design expressions. RISE is bright and architectural, aimed at custom kitchens and a personal style, while NOIR is dark and minimalist. Both run across the full line, and standing between them on the floor is the clearest way to choose.

Is JennAir the brand that invented downdraft?

JennAir traces its founding to Louis Jenn, who pushed self-ventilated downdraft cooking into the American kitchen in the 1960s. That downdraft heritage still runs through the current cooktops and ranges, which you can see on the floor.
