Dacor
Dacor treats the kitchen as something connected and responsive, where the appliance meets you halfway. Signature features like Real Steam and Chef Mode are built to bring precise cooking within reach of a touchscreen.
Ideas like those only prove out in the hand. Open the ranges, wall ovens and refrigeration columns and the technology stops being a spec list and starts being something you either like the feel of or you do not.

Dacor was founded in California in 1965 and still designs and builds its cooking appliances in Southern California, an American luxury heritage now more than sixty years long.
The brand is part of Samsung's luxury portfolio, which pairs that design heritage with serious engineering depth. Stand at a Dacor range here, work the controls, and decide whether connected luxury earns its keep in the kind of cooking you do.
Dacor, with the technology switched on
Dacor builds its case on connected features, and a feature is the one thing you truly cannot judge from a page: you either like the way it works in your hand or you do not. On our floor you can open a Dacor range, work the touchscreen, and try what the brand calls Real Steam and Chef Mode against the way you actually cook. Dacor describes its kitchen as life and luxury connected, and a working floor is where that phrase turns into a control you have used and formed an opinion about.
The Dacor range on our floor
Dacor reaches across the kitchen with a connected, design-forward line:
professional-style cooking carrying the brand's Real Steam and Chef Mode features.
built-in ovens and warming drawers to round out the cooking wall.
gas and induction cooking for a cooktop-and-wall-oven plan.
integrated column refrigeration and dedicated wine storage.
dishwashers and hoods to complete the suite.
Dacor is designed and built in Southern California, and the line carries real engineering depth behind the design.
Specifying Dacor with our team
For a designer, Dacor is connected luxury that has to earn its keep in real cooking, and the Gallery is where a client can decide whether it does. Bring your plans and our team can walk you from the range and suite to the ventilation and rough-in, and a client can work the controls in the room. See For Designers to set up a partnership.

Visit the Roseville showroomFrequently asked questions
What are Real Steam and Chef Mode on a Dacor?
They are two of the signature Dacor features, built around precise, connected cooking. The honest way to judge them is by hand, which is why Dacor is installed and working on our Roseville floor, so you can try the controls against the way you cook.
Where is Dacor made, and who owns it?
Dacor has been a Southern California company since 1965, and it still makes its cooking appliances there. Samsung acquired the brand in 2016, placing it in Samsung's luxury portfolio.
What Dacor products can I see on the floor?
Ranges and rangetops, wall ovens and warming drawers, cooktops, refrigeration columns and wine storage, plus dishwashing and ventilation, shown in a finished kitchen setting.
Is Dacor a smart, connected brand?
Yes. Connected control is the point: remote temperature sensing, a touchscreen on the range. Those are best judged in use, which is what the working floor is for.
Do you help designers specify Dacor?
Yes. Our team works with designers on the cooking suite, the ventilation and the rough-in, and a client can try the connected controls before anything is specified. See the For Designers page.
