PITT Cooking
PITT Cooking rethinks the most basic element of the kitchen: the flame. Instead of a cooktop set on the counter, PITT builds individual professional gas burners directly into the work surface itself, flush with the stone.
The result is a cooking surface that reads as pure countertop until the burners are lit. In the Gallery it is the clearest argument that a kitchen can be designed around the cooking rather than around the appliance.

PITT Cooking is designed in the Netherlands and built around modular gas burners installed directly into the countertop, so a kitchen can be laid out with exactly the burners a cook wants, arranged the way they actually work.
Seen in person the idea makes sense in a way a photograph cannot carry. Stand at a PITT surface set into finished stone and cabinetry, run a hand across the uninterrupted counter, and picture the burners where your own prep would want them.
