Trade-Wind
Trade-Wind is an American ventilation specialist that treats moving air as a discipline of its own. Range hoods, hood liners and inserts, and downdraft systems are the whole focus, engineered to clear heat, steam and smoke from a serious cooktop without turning the kitchen into a wind tunnel.
Ventilation is the part of a kitchen most people notice only when it fails. In the Gallery, Trade-Wind gets to prove itself the other way: installed over a working cooktop, pulling real heat and steam, so you can judge capture and sound instead of reading a specification sheet.

The engineering argument for Trade-Wind is capacity and integration: high-output blowers and liner inserts sized to disappear into custom cabinetry or a purpose-built hood surround, plus downdraft options for islands where an overhead hood would break the sightline. It is ventilation designed to be specified into a room, not bolted on after the fact.
That is exactly how it lives here. A Trade-Wind system is set into finished DreamLine Custom Cabinetry, running above a cooktop that is actually cooking during chef sessions and private trade visits. Stand under it, feel the pull, listen to the blower at each speed, and decide whether it belongs over the range you are planning.
